Virginia Railway Express commuter trains provide service from Union Station to Fredericksburg and Manassas, Virginia, stopping, as well, at several Metro stations, including L'Enfant Plaza, King Street, Crystal City and Franconia-Springfield.
The city is also served by the Greyhound Lines and Amtrak, and there is also the DC Circulator, with five routes, connecting points of interest in the city center.
Express bus service is also offered to Washington Dulles International Airport, from L'Enfant Plaza, West Falls Church and Rosslyn, a station being planned for Dulles airport, on the upcoming Silver Line.
